UPDATE (11:25 a.m.):
Fire crews cleared the scene of a house fire near Sault Ste. Marie at 10:30 a.m.
At this time, there is still no cause for the explosion.

Firefighters from three departments are investigating a house fire about five miles southeast of Sault Ste. Marie.
A neighbor heard a loud explosion just after 4 a.m. Thursday, and thought it was thunder. It wasn’t until about an hour later when the Soo Tribe Police drove by and called it in.
Soo Township, Sugar Island and Dafter Fire Departments all responded. As of 6:30 a.m., officials say that they are unsure if anybody was home.
Debris was scattered about 100 yards in all directions from the house, and the exact cause is unknown at this time.
