Michigan Health Officials Report 25,968 COVID-19 Cases, 139 Deaths In Past Week
Michigan health officials reported 25,968 COVID-19 cases Wednesday, a decrease of about 3,299 cases since May 18.
The average number of COVID-19 cases per day is 3,710, according to the MDHHS. 139 deaths were also reported Wednesday, an increase of about 41 deaths.
In total, Michigan has had 2,527,831 COVID-19 cases and 36,357 deaths.
As of May 18, 5,727,516 Michiganders ages five and older have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, while 6,703,077 Michiganders ages 16 and older have received at least one vaccine dose.
