Students Explore Careers at Industrial Arts Institute

The MI Career Quest Northeast is today at the Industrial Arts Institute in Onaway. More than 1,500 high school and middle school students will come learn about several careers.

This morning, businesses put the final touches on displays shortly before students take over the area, receiving hands-on experience and learn about different jobs.

Today serves as a special time for young people to learn about the different career paths they can take in the future in a fun environment.

Businesses and organizations from all over are taking part in what Michigan Works is calling the largest, one-day career exploration event for high school and middle school students in the region.
