PlantMasters of Suttons Bay: Making the Transition from Indoors to Outdoors

For over 30 years, PlantMasters of Suttons Bay has been a northern Michigan staple.

They began as D & E VanThomme Greenhouses in the Detroit area in 1940. Over time, the VanThomme brothers spread, and PlantMasters was born in 1989. If you stop by today, you are sure to talk to their 3rd, 4th and 5th generation PlantMasters. 

They grow many of their flowers in their greenhouse. Many people make the mistake of not properly helping their new plants make the transition from indoors to outdoors.
