We are just 46 days away from one of northern Michigan’s biggest events: the National Cherry Festival.
Organizers have selected their commemorative print for this year’s festival.
In first place, the winner was Monnicca Keyes with her piece titled “The Pollination of Cherries.”
It details a cherry and cherry blossoms, as well as some bees and honey.
The Cherry Queen was there to award scholarship prizes and name the winner.
Organizers want to thank all of the students who showed off their artistic talent in this year’s submissions.
