It’s certainly starting to feel like summer, and that means it’s time to start planning for outdoor activities.
We’re looking at some in this week’s What’s Happening in Northern Michigan.
Treetops Resort – Grill on the Hill
Warmer weather and sunshine means barbeque season is coming, and Treetops Resort in Gaylord is celebrating with their 4th Annual Grill on the Hill event, taking place on Saturday, May 14. You’re invited to help taste-test delicious BBQ and select the winner of the People’s Choice Award in this friendly competition. The event will also feature Celebrity Chef demonstrations, beer tents from local breweries, live entertainment, and vendor booths highlighting awesome BBQ accessories, sauces, and more. Be sure to grab your tickets from the Treetops Resort website.
Dennos Museum Center – Spring Art Market
Head to Traverse City on Saturday, May 14 for the Spring Art Market at Dennos Museum Center, where you can enjoy free admission and special programs throughout the day! Over 20 talented artists will be selling their works in media like pottery, jewelry, print, painting, glass, and more. The day will also feature live art demonstrations, a children’s art demo and activities, and a tour of the center with the director.
