Healthy Living: Chronic Stutter

About three million people in the US have a chronic stutter, including President Joe Biden and actors James Earl Jones and Bruce Willis.

Stuttering is a speech disorder in which the flow of speech is disrupted by involuntary repetitions and prolongations of sounds, syllables, words and phrase.

There is currently no cure. However, as Andrea Ludema reports in today’s Healthy Living, a recent discovery is putting researchers a step closer to one.
