A 21-year-old Muskegon woman is facing several drug charges following a two-month-long investigation by the Traverse Narcotics Team (TNT).
Over the course of the investigation, TNT detectives seized approximately 200 grams of crystal methamphetamine, eight grams of cocaine, 12 grams of fentanyl and a handgun.
Detectives conducted several controlled purchases of narcotics from 21-year-old Myikearra Lapri Piggee of Muskegon. According to TNT, Piggee visited the Grand Traverse County area several times to deliver large amounts of narcotics before returning to Muskegon.
During a traffic stop on April 26, Piggee was found in possession of a significant amount of crystal methamphetamine, fentanyl and a handgun. A large amount of cash and a vehicle were seized pending further investigation. She was lodged in the Grand Traverse County Jail.
Piggee was arraigned in a Grand Traverse County court on April 29 and charged with four counts of delivery of methamphetamine and one count of felony firearm.
Additional charges are expected to be issued by the Grand Traverse County Prosecutors office.
