Perry Johnson Visits Traverse City on “Small Town Tour” Through Michigan

Republican Candidate for Michigan Governor Perry Johnson made a stop in Traverse City on Tuesday.

Johnson hosted a breakfast event at the Park Place Hotel as part of his “Small Town Tour.” He was recently endorsed by Congressman Jack Bergman, after Bergman switched his endorsement from Former Detroit Police Chief James Craig.

“The endorsement from Congressman Bergman is amazing,” said Johnson. “He’s a phenomenal man, tremendous integrity, he’s accomplished so much.”

With the November election almost six months away, Johnson says he feels confident about the lower prices and changes he could bring to Michigan if elected.

“So recognize we have a great state, we have so much that we can do and my goal is to bring quality to Michigan,” said Johnson.

The Republican Primary takes place on August 2. Voters can cast their ballots on November 8.
