Michigan Health Officials Report 7,725 Coronavirus Cases, 81 Deaths
Michigan health officials are reporting 7,725 new coronavirus cases and 81 deaths since Wednesday, April 6.
It is important to note that the MDHHS now only updates coronavirus data once a week on Wednesdays.
The MDHHS says between Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, the average number of daily confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases is 1,104.
Additionally, they say weekly COVID-19 confirmed and probable deaths is 81.
In total, Michigan has had 2,400,990 confirmed and probable cases, and 35,857 total confirmed and probable deaths.
As of April 6, 5,690,879 Michiganders ages five and older have been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.
As of April 5, 6,658,599 Michiganders ages 16 and older have received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
