After nearly 30 years in Business, Great Lakes Tissue in Cheboygan County has a new owner.
Current President Clarence Roznowski is retiring. Kip Boie will be the new CEO and president.
Great Lakes Tissue makes toilet paper and paper towels.
Boie says he was intrigued to buy the company because of the company’s green initiatives. He hopes to expand on those around the factory.
“We are not coming in to take over. Tori remains in her position, and all the key leaders, thankfully, are staying with us to carry on and to create another generation of a vision, and build upon the legacy that has been started here,” said Boie.
Boie plans on keeping the facility in Cheboygan County.
