Commercial Tree Trimmer Dies After Fall In Oceana County
Michigan State Police are currently investigating the death of a 60-year-old commercial tree trimmer in Oceana County.
Troopers say the 60-year-old Ovid man fell 60′-70′ from a tree at a home in Clay Banks Township on Tuesday around 12:43 p.m.
They say despite life-saving efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Foul play is not suspected, and troopers say the man’s death appears to be a tragic accident.
Troopers say MIOSHA is assisting in the investigation.
