Peace, Love Hippie Festival in Houghton Lake

Saturday is the perfect opportunity to break out your tie-dye, tea shades and flare pants.

The Peace, Love Hippies Festival is back for the fourth year at the Northern Center in Houghton lake.

You can expect over 60 hippie vendors selling crystals, art, jewelry and tie-dye clothing.

There will also be live music from bands like Uncle Groovy, Party of Two Acoustic Duo with Carrie Westbay and a drumming circle with M-55 Music.

“Everywhere we go, we pull the hippie bus into town, and we have the opportunity to highlight local businesses, local bands, and music, local artists, so just making each festival as specific as we can, that’s my favorite part,” said Justin Arnold, Co-Organizer and Creative Director Peace Love Hippies Fest.

Peace, love Hippies Festival is Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm.

Admission is $5, and kids under 12 are free.
