One Driver Injured in Midland Car Crash

A driver has been injured following a two-car crash in Midland on Friday afternoon, according to the Midland Police Department.

Around 1:10 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of West Buttles Street and Jerome Street for a report of a two-car crash, where one car struck the Pathfinder Commons Apartment Complex on Fitzhugh Street.

Through their investigation, officers determined the at-fault driver had suffered from a medical emergency. They have been taken to the emergency room for treatment.

Officers state that the medical emergency is currently non-life threatening.

Individuals living inside the Pathfinder Commons Apartment Building have been evacuated for safety concerns since the building is declared as structurally unsound.

Officers say there were no injures as a result of the crash,, and it remains under investigation.
