Two Sault Ste. Marie Residents Arrested by Trident, Connected to Previous Arrests

Trident arrested two people in Chippewa County Tuesday that are connected to the March 13 arrests of Donald Holloway, Draper Leverson and Emma Washko.

After the March 13 arrests, Trident continued their investigation in the area. Through this investigation, they were able to connect two additional suspects to the previous arrest.

This allowed them to conduct a search warrant at a Sault Ste. Marie home where they seized Methamphetamine and Heroin. Trident proceeded to then arrest Amber Ward, 29, and James Franklin, 31.

Ward was charged with possession with intent to deliver Methamphetamine, possession of Heroin, child abuse 4th degree, related to children’s access to narcotics and the living conditions, and warrant arrest.

Franklin was charged with possession with intent to deliver Methamphetamine and possession of Heroin.

Trident continues to investigate multiple groups trafficking Methamphetamine, Heroin, Cocaine and Fentanyl in and around the eastern U.P.
