United Way of Northwest Michigan Opening 2022 Spring Community Impact Grant Process

United Way of Northwest Michigan is opening their spring community impact grant process for their partners in Antrim, Benzie, Kalkaska, Grand Traverse and Leelanau Counties thanks to their donors, corporate partners, volunteers and advocates.

They say each year, community members review applications from partners throughout the region and make funding decisions based on written applications and interviews.

“We are extremely grateful to our donors, corporate partners and all the supporters of United Way of Northwest Michigan to entrust their hard earned resources with us and believe in our process of community grant making,” said Seth Johnson, Executive Director of United Way of Northwest Michigan. “From all of us at United Way of Northwest Michigan and our Northwest Region Community Impact Team, we are humbled by our community’s support and will ensure that each dollar is stewarded with care to make the largest impact in the place we call home.”

United Way says partners interested in applying for the grant are encouraged to visit their website, and complete and turn-in the pre-application by April 8 at 5 p.m.

They state a similar process for their partners in Charlevoix and Emmet Counties will be announced at a later date.
