A 25-year-old Cadillac woman has been arrested for operating under the influence of meth among other drug charges, according to the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office.

On Wednesday, deputies from the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to southbound US-131 near 13 Mile Road in Big Rapids Township on a report of a car driving all over the roadway.

Deputies found and stopped the car, which was driven by Danielle Wright, 25, of Cadillac.

They say Wright was arrested for operating under the influence of drugs (meth), felony possession of meth, and felony delivery of meth.

Wright also had her two-year-old son unbuckled in the car with her. The toddler was eventually turned over to family members.

Furthermore, while being booked in jail, deputies found a small bag that contained crystal methamphetamine inside a pocket of Wright’s sweatshirt. Wright was additionally charged with felony smuggling contraband into a prison/county jail.

Wright remains in custody at the Mecosta County Jail after being arraigned in the 77th District Court.
