MSP: Detectives Arrest Six on Drug Charges

Michigan State Police say six men were arrested Thursday after detectives from the Central Michigan Enforcement Team (CMET) executed six search warrants at residential commercial marijuana grow locations in Kent, Newaygo and Montcalm Counties.

Troopers say search warrants were issued as part of an on-going investigation of illegal commercial marijuana grow operations.

Along with the arrest of six men, over 3,000 marijuana plants, 150 pounds of finished marijuana, cars and grow equipment were seized as a result of the investigation.

Troopers state that the names of the men arrested are not being released pending arraignment and additional investigative follow-up.
