Michigan health officials are reporting 1,819 new coronavirus cases and 45 deaths since Wednesday.
According to the MDHHS, between Thursday and Friday, the average number of new cases per day is approximately 910.
Additionally, they say 38 of the 45 deaths reported Friday were identified during a review of vital records.
In total, Michigan has had 2,065,912 confirmed coronavirus cases, and 32,419 total confirmed covid-related deaths.
As of Tuesday, 5,655,530 Michiganders ages five and older have been fully vaccinated against the virus.
Moreover, as of Monday, 6,627,199 Michiganders ages 16 and older have received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
