Grand Traverse County Man Charged with Animal Cruelty
A Garfield Township man is accused of killing a cat in an animal torture investigation.
Jonathan Twocrow is accused of killing a cat after law enforcement say the cat knocked over cat food and scratched Twocrow’s face.
The Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office says Twocrow’s girlfriend sent a text to her mother on March 5 about the incident. Her mother then contacted the sheriff’s office.
Twocrow is charged with animal torture and being a habitual offender. If convicted, he faces up to four years in prison.
