Northbound US-127 Shut Down at M-46 Due To Bus Crash


Michigan State Police say there were no fatalities in the crash on US-127.

Troopers are currently working to verify the number of students injured and the extent of injuries.

US-127 has been re-opened to traffic, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.



Michigan State Police from the MSP Mount Pleasant Post are at the scene of a school bus injury crash on northbound US-127 at M-46.

Troopers say parents of students are asked to go to the Shepherd High School main gym doors for reunification.

Drivers are asked to find an alternate route.



Ithaca Public Schools in Gratiot County says a bus transporting the Ski Club Wednesday afternoon was in an accident on US-127 North.

They say first responders and police are on the scene, and students not needing medical evaluation are being transported to Shepherd High School where parents can pick them up.

Parents of students that require medical evaluation will be contacted from those at the scene of the incident.

US-127 North remains closed to traffic.


Isabella County Central Dispatch says multiple police, fire and EMS agencies are working at the scene of an accident on northbound US-127 between Coe and Pleasant Valley.

Northbound US-127 has been shut down at M-46 in Gratiot County.

Drivers are asked to look for an alternate route if travelling in the area.
