Michigan health officials are reporting 2,105 coronavirus cases and 233 deaths since Monday.
According to the MDHHS, between Tuesday and Wednesday, the average number of new cases per day is approximately 1,054.
Additionally, 207 of the 233 deaths reported Wednesday were identified during a review of vital records.
In total, Michigan has had 2,058,856 confirmed coronavirus cases and 32,050 total confirmed covid-related deaths.
As of Tuesday, 5,636,467 Michiganders ages five and older have been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.
Additionally, 6,600,414 Michiganders ages 16 and older have received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
As of Jan. 20, 1,421,905 Michiganders have been reported to have recovered from the coronavirus.
