A Suttons Bay man is behind bars Monday, after a terrifying night at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa.
The man’s girlfriend alerted security around 1 a.m. Sunday with complaints related to domestic assault.
While she was being interviewed, the man pulled the fire alarm before pursuing another victim.
He then locked a second woman in her hotel room, before attempting to strangle her.
She was later taken to Munson Medical Center.
Now in Grand Traverse County Jail, the man is facing several charges, including home invasion 1st degree and assault with intent to do great bodily harm.
