A 39-year-old man has been arraigned for possessing meth with intent to deliver, according to the Kalkaska Department of Public Safety.
Officers say around 1:40 a.m. Saturday, the Kalkaska Department of Public Safety Officers responded to North Country American Inn Hotel to serve an arrest warrant on
They say Rauschenberg had a felony drug warrant out of another jurisdiction.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with Rauschenberg in his motel room. They observed drug paraphernalia and other items while on scene, which lead to a search warrant being issued to the room.
Officers located suspected meth, bags, scales and other signs of distribution of meth.
Rauschenberg was lodged in the Kalkaska County Jail for possession of meth with intent to deliver 4th habitual offender, and is being held on bond along with the hold from the other jurisdiction.
On Monday, Rauschenberg’s bond was raised by a judge after being arraigned on his charges.
