Theres no better way to show your appreciation for local businesses, than by leaving a nice tip.
That’s why the Clare Chamber of Commerce started “Overtip Your Server Saturday.”
Customers were encouraged to come out downtown and tip their servers a little more than usual.
For the employees over at Cops and Doughnuts, Saturday is already their busiest day of the week.
Server Becca Massingill said that receiving extra tips was very appreciated.
“We have actually received some very nice tips today and that generosity, it just goes on to make the day so much better and it makes us happy, it makes the customers happy,” Massingill said.
Co-owner Greg Rynearson, “Ryno,” said his staff has received a lot of thanks from customers lately, just for even working.
“Tips overall have been good, but it’s always good to do a little reminder and fire people up to get them out here,” Rynearson said.
Until the next “Overtip Your Server Saturday,” the generosity downtown is always welcome.
