UPDATE: Michigan State Police have released new details about a crash on I-75 in Otsego County.
According to Michigan State Police, the crash happened around 9:45 Friday morning.
Troopers say a semi-tractor trailer hauling wood was traveling southbound on I-75 when it lost control and hit a guardrail before going into a ditch.
They say about 75′ of guardrail was damaged in the crash, and say a 61-year-old Mount Pleasant driver has been taken to the hospital.
No other cars were involved in the crash, and the highway will remain closed for several hours.
The crash occurred at 9:44 AM. The semi was traveling SB on I-75 when it lost control and hit the guardrail before going in the ditch. Approximately 75′ of guardrail was damaged. The freeway will remain closed for several hours.
