The FBI is still investigating after a man took four hostages at a synagogue in Texas.

The hours-long standoff ended with police killing the man.

FBI investigators say Malik Faisal Akram, a British citizen, started shouting during Saturday morning’s service.

He was armed with a gun and claimed he had bombs.

Akram told negotiators he wanted to speak with a woman being held in federal prison in Texas.

She was convicted for attempting to murder U.S. forces in Afghanistan and is suspected of having ties to Al-Qaeda.

The standoff ended after 10 hours when the FBI and local police entered the synagogue and killed Akram

All the hostages got out safely.

It’s unclear if Akram was working alone, but police in Britain say two teenagers were arrested Sunday night in connection to the hostage situation.
