Michigan Health Officials Report 44,524 Coronavirus Cases, 56 Deaths

Michigan health officials are reporting 44,524 coronavirus cases and 56 deaths since Friday.

According to the MDHHS, between Saturday, Sunday and Monday, the average number of new cases per day is approximately 14,841.

In total, Michigan has had 1,681,135 confirmed covid cases and 27,878 total confirmed covid-related deaths.

As of Friday, 5,444,039 Michiganders ages five and older have been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.

As of Thursday, 6,374,999 Michiganders ages 16 and older have received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
