Adopt-A-Pet Tuesday: Josh, Drew & Rascal

It’s Adopt-A-Pet Tuesday on Michigan This Morning!

This week we have Josh, Drew and Rascal—just three of Northern Michigan’s many great, adoptable animals waiting for a loving family to take them home.

First we have Josh.

Josh is a 3-year-old Anatolian shepherd.

He is a gentle giant and does well with kids and other animals including livestock.

He was born on a farm but had to be surrendered after he was attacked by another dog as a puppy.

He does great outdoors and would do best on a farm where he could guard livestock.

It is also recommended that he goes to a home familiar with Anatolian shepherds.

If you would like more information about Josh you can contact Osceola County Animal Control.

Next we have Drew.

He is a young domestic shorthair.

Drew came to the shelter in very bad shape and is now on the mend.

He can be a bit shy and enjoys hiding in places that make him feel safe.

You should be warned, Drew is a snuggler and loves to talk with his people.

He isn’t a huge fan of being held though and can be nervous of sudden noises and movements.

If you are interested in adopting Drew you can contact Cherryland Humane Society.

Lastly we have Rascal.

Don’t let the name fool you.

This domestic short hair tabby mix is very well behaved.

He does well with other cats but in general is a little scared of new things at first so introduce him to new people and animals slowly.

He is affectionate once he gets to know you.

If you would like any more information about Rascal you can contact One Love Animal Rescue.

Tune in to MTM each Tuesday at 5:20 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. for more lovable Northern Michigan pets in search of families of their own!
