Adopt-A-Pet Tuesday: Squishy, Maya & P.J.

It’s Adopt-A-Pet Tuesday on Michigan This Morning!

This week we have Squishy, Maya and P.J.—just three of Northern Michigan’s many great, adoptable animals waiting for a loving family to take them home.

First up is Squishy!

Squishy is a young pit bull terrier.

She is house trained and up to date on all vaccinations.

She is sweet, lovely, and very well behaved.

She may have been abused when she was a puppy so it’s recommended that she be the only pet in a single person household.

But she is so nice and such a couch potato!

If you would like more information on squishy you can contact the Animal Rescue Coalition of Mecosta County.

Second up we have Maya.

Maya is an affectionate and talkative domestic shorthair.

She was surrendered by a family who found her as a stray.

She can be shy at first but became very affectionate and active with other cats at the shelter.

Because of this she would probably do best in a house with other cats around.

If you would like to meet Maya you can contact One Love Animal Rescue.

Lastly, we have P.J.

P.J. is a chihuahua terrier mix.

He is described as a brave couch potato.

He bonds quickly and then feels the need to be over-protective.

Because of this, he would do best in a home with few visitors.

P.J. is a work in progress but he is getting there.

If you would like more information on P.J., you can contact Halfway Home Animal Rescue.

Tune in to MTM each Tuesday at 5:20 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. for more lovable Northern Michigan pets in search of families of their own!
