MTM On the Road: The Yellow Umbrella Moves Onto Front Street

The Yellow Umbrella is a new vintage shop in downtown Traverse City.

They have everything from antiques and clothing to vintage comics and posters.

They have pieces they’ve gotten from all over the country and some are well over 60 years old.

Their goal is to help make vintage more accessible and affordable.

Since they are in the heart of the Arcade building on Front Street, they attract a younger crowd that they say is becoming more and more fascinated with vintage finds.

We’ll be taking a look at their different collections throughout the morning.
