is getting ready for their Nutcracker performance this weekend!
is a ballet performance typically performed in December around Christmas time.
Joseph Morrisey, the Director of Dance, has been rehearsing with the students and getting them ready for their first in-person show since 2019!
The Nutcracker features 42 dancers from all over the U.S. and Canada, and the orchestra will be playing the ballet’s music.
There will be five performances: Performance dates are: at 7:30 p.m.; at 7:30 p.m.; ; ; and at 2 p.m. All performances will be held in Corson Auditorium.
Interlochen Center for the Arts also held a youth drawing contest, where children were able to win ticket’s for this year’s production. This year’s winners are Nellie, age 6, and Stella, age 10.
