United Way of NW Michigan Looking For Donations on Giving Tuesday

After the hectic Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping, it’s time for Giving Tuesday.

Giving Tuesday is a day of global generosity, but you can help by donating locally.

United Way of Northwest Michigan is looking for donations to help strengthen the communities in their five county region.

They accept help in the form of monetary contributions or volunteers.

You can also participate in 22 in 22, a program where you can pledge $22 every month next year.

“Make sure that you’re giving to a registered non-profit or registered charity,” said ——. “Do your homework on them, make sure that they have some sort of transparency, but we want people to find ways to give back because a lot of non-profits are really tight right now. A lot of us rely on this season of giving to kind of meet our bottom lines and for us to be strong going into the next year.”
