A 69-year-old Gladwin man died Sunday following a car crash in Roscommon County, according to the Roscommon County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 12:49 p.m. Sunday, deputies were dispatched to a single car crash on South Gladwin Road near Pond Road in Roscommon Township. They say they arrived on scene to find a Chevrolet Silverado pickup that had lost control, left the roadway, and struck a tree.
Deputies say the driver was identified as 69-year-old Tim Martinson of Gladwin. They say he died at the scene, and was the only person in the vehicle.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, witnesses observed the accident, and icy/snowy roads appeared to cause the truck to lose control.
