Blue Angels Returning to The National Cherry Festival

One of the planes landed at U.S. Coast Guard Station on Monday in Traverse City.

During the 2022 season, from March through November, the crew will perform 32 shows across the U.S.

Next summer will be the 13th time the Blue Angels will be at the National Cherry Festival.

“I’m always very humbled and honored by it so many kids, or even now people I fly with say they were inspired to do what they do from one small interaction with a Blue Angel,” said LT. Katlin Forster Blue Angel #8. “You never know who you can impress upon. Our tours here are short, and we want to make lasting memories.”

The Blue Angels typically perform every two years at the National Cherry Festival. The last time was 2018 because the festival was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic.
