Deputies say the woman was entrapped in the wreckage of her car from the impact.

They say the Equinox failed to yield to the eastbound semi-tractor trailer.

The extent of the injuries for both drivers is unknown at this time, and both vehicles did not have additional passengers.

Deputies say a tan colored pit-bull mix dog that was in the cab of the semi-tractor trailer ran off after the crash, and is currently missing.
