Michigan health officials are reporting 17,008 new coronavirus cases and 83 deaths since Friday.
According to the MDHHS, between Saturday, Sunday and Monday, the average number of new cases per day is approximately 5,669.
Additionally, they say 32 of the 83 deaths reported Monday were identified during a review of vital records.
In total, Michigan has had 1,259,261 total confirmed coronavirus cases and 23,315 total confirmed covid-related deaths.
Currently, 5,166,414 Michiganders ages five and older have been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.
As of Friday, 5,702,536 Michiganders ages 16 and older have received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
According to as of Monday, 3,699 adults and 42 children are hospitalized with the coronavirus.
Of those 3,699, 831 adults are occupying ICU beds with the coronavirus. And of those 831, 488 are on ventilators with the coronavirus.
Furthermore, according to the MDHHS, 1,075,956 Michiganders have recovered from the virus as of Nov. 19.
