This weekend is the kickoff the holiday season in Traverse City.
This year they aren’t doing an official tree lighting but still want to celebrate and ring in the Christmas cheer.
Businesses downtown are holding different sales and specials to encourage people to shop local.
We’ll be talking to some businesses about what they’re expecting for the holiday season.
We’ll also be previewing the Light Parade with some past participants.
