MTM On the Road: One Family Embraces Tradition for Opening Day of Firearm Deer Season

Monday is Opening Day of Firearm Deer Season.

For many families it’s an unofficial holiday.

They take the week off to set up camp and spend time in the deer blind.

Over the years families have started traditions around opening day.

One family gathers every year in Rodney at Ole’s Farm.

We take a look into their experience and what it looks like for them at the start of the season.

For more information about Opening Day and the Firearm Deer Season, you can find more information from the DNR here.
