On Tuesday, voters in Harbor Springs will decide on a city millage proposal.
The City is proposing that the maximum millage shouldn’t be more than 0.50 mills in 2022.
Harbor Springs is also proposing to limit new millages each year.
The only exception is if it’s determined necessary by the City Council after meeting certain property tax code requirements.
The estimated income from this proposal is $145,000.
