Northern Michigan in Focus: S.O.S. Vermilion

If you’re in trouble out on the Great Lakes, you call the Coast Guard, and hopefully they can get to you in time on a fast boat or by helicopter.

Some 150 years ago, there were life saving stations built where several ships were sinking. Today, there’s few of these stations left.

In this week’s Northern Michigan in Focus, Corey Adkins explains how one of these buildings is being saved.
