Adopt-A-Pet Tuesday: Leta, Garfield & Blue

It’s Adopt-A-Pet Tuesday on Michigan This Morning!

This week we have Leta, Garfield and Blue—just three of Northern Michigan’s many great, adoptable animals waiting for a loving family to take them home.

First up we have Leta.

Leta is a house-trained tabby cat.

She is curious and likes to investigate wildlife from the window seat.

She loves attention and will let you know if she is not getting enough.

She does have a bit of a sensitive stomach so that will be something to look out for.

If you want more information about Leta, you can contact Lake County Animal Control.

Next we have Garfield.

Garfield is an affectionate domestic shorthair.

He is laid-back and friendly.

He enjoys sleeping on a couch or on your lap.

He is house-trained and does well will other cats and dogs.

If you are interested in adopting Garfield, you can contact the One Love Animal Rescue in Houghton Lake.

Lastly we have this lovable goofball named Blue.

Blue is a pitbull terrier who loves to run around and play.

After an active day he likes to snuggle up with his people and rest.

Blue can be a little anxious at first when it comes to making friends, but after some treats and neck scratches he’ll be a best friend for life.

Blue has a lot of energy so he would do the best in a home with people familiar with energetic pups.

If that sounds like you, you can contact the Cherryland Humane Society.

Tune in to MTM each Tuesday at 5:20 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. for more lovable Northern Michigan pets in search of families of their own!
