Pfizer Says Lower Dose Is 91% Effective In Kids 5 to 11
Pfizer has announced that its COVID-19 vaccination is almost 91% effective in kids 5 to 11.
They posted the results of their study as regulators are expected to approve the smaller doses for kids in that age range.
If the FDA gives their approval, the CDC is expected to do the same in early November.
That means kids 5 to 11 could start getting shots next month.
The Pfizer vaccine is currently available for anyone 12 and older.
