Michigan health officials are reporting 7,505 new cases of the coronavirus and 118 deaths since Wednesday.
According to the MDHHS, over Thursday and Friday, the average number of new cases per day is 3,752.
Additionally, they say 69 of the 118 deaths reported Friday were identified during a review of vital records.
In total, Michigan has had 1,104,634 confirmed coronavirus cases and 21,862 total confirmed covid-related deaths.
As of Oct. 22, 5,075,029 Michiganders ages twelve and older have been fully vaccinated against the virus.
Additionally, 5,547,015 Michiganders ages sixteen and older have received one dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
And as of Oct. 15, 962,955 Michiganders are reported to have fully recovered from the virus.
