Ferris State University Hosting Virtual Open House

Ferris State University is bringing their classes outside of Big Rapids to multiple locations in Michigan. Classes will be available for students wanting to learn online and at partnering locations.

Wednesday, October 27, from 11 am to 1 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm, parents and students will be able to join a virtual open house to learn about programs available online or on site.
There are 180 programs available for students to take. They’ll get to hear what courses are available the way they choose to learn.
Partnering locations like Northwestern Michigan College, give people a chance to attend courses at FSU without needing to live near campus.

“Not everybody can come to the main campus and take classes,” says Steve Reifert, Dean of Extended and Internal Operations. “That’s why we’re here at University Center. That’s why we offer online options. So we’re just trying to make it convenient , affordable and do able.”
