CDC Authorizes all Three COVID-19 Booster Shots

A Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advisory committee has authorized booster shots for all three Covid vaccines.

The C.D.C. says those 65 and older or are at high risk and have gotten the Moderna vaccine should get a booster shot.

The advisory committee also suggests people 18 and older who got the Johnson and Johnson vaccine should also take a booster.

The C.D.C. committee did not recommend whether anyone should stick to one brand.

Instead they say mixing and matching vaccines can be left up to you.

This recommendation comes as the nation faces walkouts and firings of employees who have failed or refused to get vaccinated because of mandates.
