Former Boeing Executive Indicted in Plane Crash Investigation

A former Boeing executive is being indicted by a federal grand jury for fraud.

Mark Forkner is accused of deceiving the federal aviation administration while they were certifying the 737 Max Jet in 2016 and 2017.

This is all a part of an investigation into two plane crashes that killed a total of 346 people.

It was discovered that a design flaw was the cause of the crashes.

Forkner was the chief technical pilot for Boeing during the certification process.

He is accused of providing inaccurate and incomplete information about the planes’ operating systems.

Neither Forkner’s attorney nor Boeing have responded to requests for comments
