Treetops Thursday: Fall Fun with Treetops Trifecta & Michigan Beer & Wine Festival
Right now, the fall colors at Treetops Resort are in full peak!
The Treetops Trifecta is a micro-stage race with 5K, Hill Climb and Half Marathon events over two days at one of Michigan’s top resorts. It is November 6-7, 2021.
The weekend begins on Saturday morning with a 5K on newly crafted single track at the Treetops Main Campus.
The course takes runners through their alpine ski area and the forests surrounding the Masterpiece golf course. This is followed by a 1K hill climb on the resort’s alpine ski area on Saturday afternoon. The hill climb offers 300 feet in elevation gain, which makes this event accessible for runners who are new to hill climbing events.
The event concludes on Sunday morning with a half marathon staged at the Treetops North Campus. An ultra scenic course layout includes a single track through the Headwaters Land Conservancy, Sturgeon River Preserve, and Treetops Project Nature. The landscape offers stunning views of the Sturgeon River Valley and the Vanderbilt Highlands.
The annual Michigan Beer & Wine Festival is back for a tenth time!
You will spend the evening mingling and tasting an array of Michigan craft beer, cider, and wine. You can also learn about beer and wine making, tasting notes, and the operations of local beer and wine makers. Between sips, enjoy spectacular food stations from Treetops’ culinary team.
Ticket includes 15 tastings and a souvenir glass or mug.
