Kalkaska Co. Man Could Face Up To 15 Years For Drunk Driving Crash

A Kalkaska County man will go to trial in an alleged drunk driving crash that killed one of his passengers.

Christopher Bluer is facing up to fifteen years in prison on a felony charge of driving while intoxicated causing death.

The happened back in April at Ingersoll and Creighton Roads in Kalkaska.

The Kalkaska County Sheriff’s Office says the SUV was driving West on Ingersoll Road when the driver lost control of the car in a curve.

21-year-old Haley Stangler of Kingsley passed away in the crash. Two other passengers were thrown from the car when it rolled several times, but both of them survived.
