Up North Pride Returns For 2021 Celebration

After being postponed last year, Up North Pride is returning this year.

Join Up North Pride October 13th through October 17th for the annual Pride Celebration.

This year’s festivities include the Pride Ride, a short bike ride from F&M Park through downtown Traverse City and the annual Sign Making Party at Little Fleet.

New to the schedule this year is Pride Comedy Night at Short’s Brewing Company in Elk Rapids on Friday, October 15th.

All Up North Pride events are designed to be family-friendly and free to attend with the exception of the Comedy Night.

Tickets for comedy night can be purchased here.

On Saturday, there will be a full day of festivities with food and drinks from several local spots.

The annual Pride Picnic celebration starts at 1 p.m. at F&M Park and will be followed by our Pride Rally and Visibility March through downtown Traverse City to the Open Space.

Saturday night will include Drag Night, starring RuPaul’s Drag Race alum BenDeLaCreme, followed by Silent Disco.

The last event of the annual Pride Celebration is the Big Gay Brunch on Sunday, October 17th.

Go for the food and stay for the Judy Garland themed cabaret.
